GAME CHANGING TOOL
Extract every opportunity when buying stock!
Do you want to extract every single opportunity when buying stock?
Below in the photo, I have an Autotrader search showing a Porsche Cayenne. As you can see in the web browser I’ve highlighted the numbers ‘20240117’.

As most of you will know as a buyer, this is the date the car was advertised, but backwards, so this particular vehicle was advertised on the 17th January 2024.
This is always good information to know when buying stock as it gives you an idea of how long certain vehicles have been in stock, and if privately buying can determine how long their car has been advertised and obviously not sold.
For me personally it’s really helpful as will help me tailor my call to that customer for that specific vehicle! When I call a customer to potentially buy their vehicle I will approach completely differently if it has just been listed compared to if it had been on there a few weeks. I’ll share some of the strategies that work well for me next week.
Now here is what this advert will look like once you’ve downloaded this game changing tool. This next photo is the same vehicle but with the tool installed.

Here we have the ‘AT Price Tracker’ Chrome extension. As you can see from the photo, without looking in the web browser, you can see that the car was advertised on the 17th January 2024, and it was advertised for £48,860. Today is Friday 19th January 2024 so you can see it’s been advertised for 2 days.
Some of you may have already known about this, but like me until I started using it you may not have known so I thought it was important to share it with you.
For me personally, that buys a large volume of privately owned vehicles from Autotrader it really has been game changing. When i’ve spoken to a customer to make sure their car is still available and to fact find, I then put the details in to the usual platforms like CAP and Dealer Portal to get the guide figures, but then I manually research their car on Autotrader. This is where it has really benefitted me getting deals over the line. When calling back to discuss price i’m able to confidently talk about similar cars to theirs that are advertised by dealers and how long they’ve been in stock and how they’re having to reduce the prices as they just aren’t selling. This is so powerful as it makes you think “if dealerships aren’t selling they how can I”
The Porsche in the photo’s above probably isn’t the best example of the tool as it’s recently been listed, so here’s another example for you.

As you can see above, this Porsche was advertised on 25th October 2023 and is still available to buy. They advertised the car at £53,250 and today you can buy this car for £48,250, a whopping £5,000 lower than what they thought they would get for it.
So there you have it. If you didn’t know about it then download it immediately, and if you knew about it then just think how you can maximise this feature.
It’s easy to download, just type in to Google ‘AT Price Tracker’ and it’s self explanatory. However if you do struggle just reply to this email and I will guide you through it!
For those of you that don’t know
Starting on the 1st February I will be swapping my car for the daily commute to work.

I will be walking, jogging and cycling the daily commute instead! This challenge will be from the 1st February until the end of the year when we break up for Christmas.
From my home to work it is 5.3 miles, so Monday to Friday I will be commuting 10.6 miles as a round trip. I’m mixing it up so that I can stay consistent and complete the challenge.
The reason for my challenge it to try and raise £10,000 for the amazing Charity that is ‘Ben Automotive Charity’. With your support i’m sure I can do this!
